The right boiler for the right home

It's important for you, when choosing a boiler/brand (i.e. Worcester, Vaillant, Veissmann etc), to be sure that you are buying the best boiler for your home. There are three main types of boiler currently available, all of which are high efficiency condensing boilers.

Below is a brief description of each type of boiler system, please feel free to contact us if you would like to know more.

Regular Boiler

Regular Boiler

If you are replacing an older central heating system it is likely that you currently have a regular boiler. A conventional heating system will consist of a boiler with controls, a feed and expansion cistern and a hot water cylinder. The system will be fed by a cold water, usually in the loft of the property.

System Boiler

A system boiler works on the basis of sealing the heating circuit, therefore doing away with the small tank in the loft. As a system boiler incorporates both the central heating pump and expansion vessel the installation is quicker, neater and easier.

Combi Boiler

Combi Boiler

A combi boiler eliminates the need to store hot water. it is perfect for houses which have no provision for a large hot water storage cupboard. Combi boilers are now the most popular boiler for British households. A combi boiler by design is more efficient so will be cheaper to run in most cases. Installation is usually cheaper as there are no storage tanks to fit and pipework is kept to a minimum.
